Elysian Park Elopement in Los Angeles, California

When S + T first reached out to us to capture their New Year's Eve elopement, we immediately knew this was a match made in heaven! They wanted an intimate ceremony with only their immediate family in attendance, and we decided on the perfect spot for their elopement - Elysian Park.

We scouted Elysian Park for their elopement and found the perfect spot to hold their ceremony. News of an intense downpour due to the atmospheric river in the last few weeks of 2022 was going to damper our plans, so we made sure to have plans B-Z. As the weeks turned into days leading up to their elopement, we started to more closely monitor the weather forecast and unfortunately, the forecast wasn't changing. But nonetheless, they were determined to go ahead with Plan A, rain or shine.

As we arrived at Elysian Park for their elopement ceremony, the rain immediately let up, so we all rushed to start the ceremony before it started pelting us again. S looked stunning in her dress, and Tyler looked dapper in his super cool maroon suit.

S + T exchanged their vows under the canopy of trees, lightly misted with the rain, surrounded by their loved ones. It was honestly a moment that we were so honored to be a part of.

After the ceremony, we did their family photos and romantics in the park, despite the rain starting to come down. The overcast sky made for stunning and moody photos that captured the intimacy and romance of the moment.

Once we were done with their romantics, we left the park and all headed to Girl and the Goat in the Arts District in DTLA for dinner! The restaurant had a cozy and intimate ambiance that was *perfect* and the drinks were ~phemoninal~.

S + T's Elysian Park elopement was a beautiful reminder that love can conquer any obstacle, even the rain. We absolutely LOVED being a part of their intimate day and being able to capture these memories that they will cherish for a lifetime. What a wrap to our 2022 season!
