Having a COVID elopement didn't have to be boring and E + J's day was pure proof of that. The only people in attendance were your very own resident officiant and videographer Nancy and Eddie as their photographer, and Erin and Jesse wouldn't have had it any other way! This was an 8-hour elopement and it STILL felt like it wasn’t enough time to capture everything. Elopements like these are why we explain to all our couples who inquire that “only one or two” hours of coverage is not enough to have a full experience and enjoy their WEDDING day.
Fun fact about their Sunset Cliffs Elopement: We got locked out of our hotel room for 45 minutes right after we checked in due to a dead battery on the door!! It did push back our timeline, but what's a wedding without a small mishap? Nancy helped Erin curl her hair while she did her makeup, zipped up her dress, put on her veil, tied Jesse's bow tie, and put on his boutonnière (honestly three years of doing full weddings helped in this scenario and we would’ve not been so prepared had it not been for these experiences). We mean it when we say we aren't just your wedding photographers. We are your everything and more on your wedding day!!!
Erin and Jesse’s glowing love couldn’t be better displayed on-camera and we captured the magic on camera. Their wedding told a perfect love story and shows us that sometimes when hearts are open as wide as they were on during our hazy sunset, a miracle can happen. Now, more than ever, we need more love stories like this one.
Now THAT is how you do an elopement, y'all!
